The Mind and Money Connection

Thrice broke, David well knows what a positive mindset can achieve. The former Lucerne hay farmer, who was behind the first small square hay bale handling machinery, had innovation and success in his blood, he just needed to tap into what is now known as the Law of Attraction to reach his potential.

In fact, David now talks of the Law of Attraction with an air of authority and it forms the basis of his Abundant Life seminars. The Law of Attraction didn’t come easily to him at first. He had read self-help books – that just didn’t help. He had accumulated an overwhelming amount of debt that was crippling him and his wife Lorna (also an integral part of the success of the current businesses). It wasn’t until he was introduced to Bob Proctor’s You Were Born Rich that five years of hardship began to turn around. As the universe would have it, David turned his life around by focusing on what he wanted, rather than the negative elements that had invaded and crept into his day to day existence.

This turnaround forms part of his teachings in the Abundant Life seminars.

The course is a three day intensive affair that covers off such topics as where to put your time and energy for maximum financial return, how to avoid self-sabotage, how to find the big idea and much more.

The course touches on and expands what David learned when he went from $50,000 debt, near eviction, disconnected utilities and trying to support four children with Lorna, to a multi-millionaire with 20 business streams in 12 years. The course was an immediate hit. It attracted 340 people to the first event, but the product sales afterwards made it profitable beyond expectation. The following year the numbers more than doubled.

David believes the attraction to the course is based on people’s desire to change their lives, but first they must come to the realization that change is necessary. “The most important thing is to define what people want in life and focus on that; most people don’t do it,” says David.
“A lot of people have given up hope, so the first thing we do is to show people why they earn, what they earn and the cause of it, which has nothing to do with what they do, but what they think.”

David’s is a great story about a man who changed his thoughts to be more attuned to what he wanted in life. It is this change that attracted Rhonda Byrne to him when she approached him to be the only Australian in worldwide, bestselling Law of Attraction DVD The Secret.

Now millions of people have had to hear what David has to say about The Law of Attraction and wants to take that further with the Abundant Life seminars, which will launch in Los Angeles and then in four other destinations beyond Australian shores. What David really wants now is for others to attract what they want, like the business owner who attended the course and increased his sales by 400 per cent each month. Or another attendee who couldn’t get his invention off the ground, but has now sold $20 million worth of product.

The Law of Attraction works, but like David, you just have to want it to work for you.

  4. Hi Vicki, I have lots of ideas running through my head. The first thing you must do is see yourself already having all the success and customers you desire. The next thing would be to start building a database of visitors and create a simple newsletter that you send to your customers and their friends with what is happening at the coffee shop with this weeks special. I would also start a blog going with the coffee shop and garden ramble! We don’t have any event schedule for South Australia at the moment. Where in SA is your coffee shop?

  5. The last two years I have gone through a lot of changes in my life.
Money thoughts have taken the largest part of my mind, I am a creative person but it seems that money makes the world go round.
What else do I need to do except of day dreaming, thinking I have everything, lots of money and a successful carreer?
